Our mission is to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, to develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.

Statement of Faith
Our Belief concerning the Bible:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.
Our Belief concerning God:
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent - three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Our Belief concerning Sin:
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance; and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and we believe in being baptized in water.
Our Belief concerning Salvation:
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
Our Belief concerning Christ:
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to the believers’ prayer.
Our Belief concerning the Holy Ghost:
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, and it is given to believers who ask God for it.
Our Belief concerning Sanctification:
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
We believe we are able to praise God in
His Sanctuary for His marvelous works.

Mission Statement
The Mission . . .
Rise Up and Build is a faith-based non-profit entity under the umbrella of Greater Faith Word Changing Ministries. The mission of Rise Up and Build is to seek out community partners who will help to change the lives of people by investing in a multi-purpose facility equipped to educate children, individuals and families within the community, empowering them to achieve socially, economically and spiritually.
Strategies . . .
• Creating a safe, sound facility where families can come and fellowship in togetherness.
• Provide a place where low to moderate income residents can learn to adopt and display positive behaviors and the necessary skills to promote a better life for themselves and their children.
• Provide a mentor/tutoring program for the youth, specifically aimed at developing effective communication skills.
• To develop a reward system by providing scholarships to deserving students who aspire to attend higher learning institutions.
• Provide transportation services to the elderly, assisting them with grocery shopping, doctor appointments, filling prescriptions and attending church.
• Develop relationships with other community and faith-based non-profits in an effort to seek out community and economic development projects to benefit the residents.
• Committed to leveraging our resources and creating new opportunities in an effort to approach the problem of affordable housing in our community.

Rise Up and Build uses the same governing principles as Greater Faith Word Changing Ministries. We are a faith-based organization and on a mission to serve and help to positively change the lives of people. We invest in the total man spirit, using biblical principles to guide us in everything we do – mind, body and soul.
